IDS 2009 Toronto

Don't make plans for the weekend of February 7th & 8th, since the Interior Design Show will be happening here in Toronto at the Direct Energy Center, and you do not want to miss it!! General admission is $20.00 at the door, or $17.00 in advance online.

I've quickly reviewed the long list of exhibitors, and selected a few local businesses to feature here. To see all of the participating exhibitors, you'll have to attend the show!!

Bookhou:

This retailer, Bookhou, looks really interesting and it's local - 798 Dundas West, here in Toronto.

Hollace Cluny:

Located in Toronto at 1070 Yonge Street, Hollace Cluny is a treasure trove of hard to find products, including furniture, textiles & decor accessories.

Judit Gueth Design:

Judit Gueth is a Toronto based designer of rugs, cushions and wallpapers, featuring strong graphic patterns in bold colours. Such beautiful work!!

Kosoy & Bouchard:

Michelle (Kosoy) works with ceramics, while Pierre (Bouchard) handles the glass. These two artists have a design studio at 651 St. Clair Avenue West in Toronto.

Parts Gallery:

Located at 1150 Queen Street East right here in Toronto, Parts Gallery features original contemporary artwork by a variety of talented artists.

Tansy & Co:

What an interesting concept, incorporating original photography into home decor & lighting objects. Although based in St. Catherines, Tansy & Co operates an online shop at Etsy.com (read my January 14th post for more info about Etsy).

I was already looking forward to the IDS, but now that I've scanned through all of the exhibitors, I'm even more excited!! It's definitely worth spending a day at the show , but if you don't have the opportunity to attend, I will be featuring some of the highlights here on my blog.
